Coventry reported one of the lowest numbers for the number of crimes committed with 28,000 across the year. Coventry also only reported around 384 CCTV cameras in the city according to Coventry’s council which makes it one of the lowest for a city in the UK.
According to Crimerate, is ranked as the West Midland’s safest city. Last year, the city had an overall crime rate of 126 crimes per 1,000 people. This was 7% higher than the West Midland’s crime rate of 118 crimes per 1,000 people.
